INTRODUCING THE SLENDANCE CHALLENGE
Hi guys!
I’m back! I hope you understand why I can’t blog and answer your comments that much, but thank you for all the loving! Anyway, I’m inviting everyone who can groove and move to the music of Slendance (Latin, Hip-Hop and Club) to join the SLENDANCE CHALLENGE in TV5’s SHALL WE DANCE! It is a dance competition where contestants will have to reinvent and incorporate his/her own dance moves to my moves found in Slendance DVD. I was there to launched the contest. Check out the video!

Hi Valerie, after watching the first video, I honestly think that you would make a great Ballroom Latin dancer. I know this because I see that you are capable moving your hips extremely very well. Because I too dance Latin and I love it. It’s just so much fun. However, I am not a Professional Latin Dancer, but I am Amateur who competes against others from around the United States and the rest of the World. So when I see hip movement as good as yours and comment on it, believe me, I know what I am talking about. I only do Ballroom/Latin as a hobby because doing it professionally does not pay my bills nor does it supports my lifestyle…LOL.

Valerie, you’re surprised? LOL, how about me? I never knew I liked to dance, until my Mom made me do it. Anyway, ballroom dancing is fun.
Valerie, you definitely have talent for Latin. When you get the chance, try Ballroom (Standard) ok? That’s the one where you wear a long gown. I have a pretty good feeling you will love that kind of dancing, too. If Latin makes you feel “sexy”, then Ballroom will make you feel “angelic.”
Also save the date for the Philippine Star Ball in 2010. I have many many friends (f/ the U.S.) who compete and dance there. I have not gone to the previous two, but I will the next one. If you go, I will introduce you to Professional and Champions. They are, pretty much, all my teachers. No wonder, I’m always broke….just kidding.
